    And I agree above, as the switching windows is 49 days, I would say just wait. You would be able to switch in Aug.

    How is your calculation being done?
    If you take out your last year bill which show actual usage for May to July, use those number to do the calculation.
    I would be surprise you could save £70, knowing the fact that the usage of energy in summer is lower than winter. 


    But surely that misses the point? It's not a case of @hufc2002 saving/not saving £70 during May to July, it's the gamble of the tariff not being available at all at a later date if it isn't taken up now and the alternative offerings giving lesser or no savings.
