Santander 123 lite. Is cashback counted as a deposit?

I receive £6.01 cashback from DDs into my Santander 123 lite account every month, is this counted as a deposit so I only need deposit £493.99 instead of £500 every month?

I doubt it is counted as a deposit. You only get the cashback if you deposited £500 before the cashback is calculated.  If the T&Cs are unclear, you would have to ask Santander. Though why would you not deposit £500 to start with?

I would say no, given that transfers from other Santander accounts do not count.

Isn't it "transfers from other Santander accounts in your name"?

But I do agree, I don't think cashback would count as a deposit.
