Canceling RBS Platinum Account

I pay £18 per month into the RBS Platinum account, just for the benefits, mainly the worldwide travel insurance. We paid a substantial premium in January to cover certain medical conditions for a year. I am considering opening a packaged account with a different provider. I'd prefer to do this soon rather than wait until next January.
If I close the RBS Platinum account, will I be entitled to a partial refund of the travel insurance premium?

Did you pay your travel insurance for the full year in advance?
