Less than a year ago my son bought a used fiesta eco boost 1.0 due to an oil issue he now needs a new engine I’ve seen these cars have had many issues how do I go about taking this up with ford? It’s a 2013

Try contacting Ford. However unless the car has a full Ford franchised dealer service history then it's highly unlikely they will be interested. And given your son bought this only a year ago then he should have done his research ... it's not as if this issue hasn't been well-reported.
The only people he may have a claim against is the seller he bought from ... but unless that was a dealer then he's onto plums.
PS - if your forum name is your mobile number then I recommend you contact the forum team and get your forum name changed ASAP.0 -
Ask a Ford main dealer as their may be a factory note on the problem .But 7 years down the line and not the original owner may be enough to reject any claim .0
