I have worked out that every time I change supplier, I save around £30 per year, having changed 5 times, that should mean I am now paying £150 per year. So the claims are misleading. How is it allowed?Gerry1 said:VAT?Always ignore all claimed savings and projections, just compare annual costs based on kWh from actual meter readings, never estimates.Ofgem's crazy rules mean that savings claims are meaningless.

It's not just allowed, it's what Ofgem specify. They also allow many suppliers to give fake E7 'quotations' that can be much lower than what they will actually charge you because they use the total consumption and assume the amount you use at night. Ofgem are totally unfit for purpose.0
