Morning folks - only just! The sun was shining away first thing even though there had been an overnight shower, but it didn't last too long. Once I was out I felt the full force of the chilly nippy wind. My excursion was only to look at the swans, do a little shopping and fuel the car. I was in the mood to 'go somewhere' but there's nowhere to go.DM has been fed and watered. I've got her meds box to fill up, I have two so that there's always one full waiting. She's taken to not wanting three of the six pills though she takes the three 'important' ones. We've had the conversation, however she's adamant that they make her feel worse. As these don't have any impact on her medical condition then I'm not going to force the matter, she'll come back to them soon enough.CAMELOT - that made me laugh! Glad you're not locked in....NELSKI - those flowers are blooming lovely, enjoy looking at them. Mine are almost at the end now.I hope that all's well with everyone, or at least OK!Happy rest of Sunday.12

Monna, I think that's what they used to call 'fur coat, no knickers'...
TA, where are you?
How nice or you Nels, wasn't me though, I can think flowers to everyone thoughHad a message from a friend who runs a travel company, the one we were due to go on in April has been shuftied to August. Had to tell him I think that'll be too soon to visit London for us [ a few freidns were going as well]. I really feel for him at the moment, I hope no one is giving him a hard time about cancellations and rebookings. It's going to be hard for him the rest of the year and the next. He's on my 'help if you win the lottery' list now....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi12 -
Morning folks. Aw you lovely people, I didn't realise till I had a catch up of the Daily that I had you worrying about me. These 50 odd days of solitary confinement seemed to just catch up on me midweek and I felt as though I had fallen down a black hole and couldn't get out of it. I couldn't be bothered being sociable with anybody who rang or texted and cried if I had a kind word spoken to me. It's so not like me to be like that and it's a horrible feeling.. OK I can have an off day like anybody else but the next I'm ok again. I still feel weepy but thankfully better than I did. Among all the trauma of the bl**dy virus my DB is having health problems and has the nurse coming daily to give him IV anti b injections and hospital visits every 3 or 4 days. So I am worrying about him as well.
Anyway life goes on (if we are among the lucky ones) and I won't moan on any more as I know life is hard for everyone throughout this. I just hope Boris isn't too quick to start unlocking things are there are too many flouting the rules as it is. I was saddened to see on the news all the folk sprawled out sunbathing in the London parks and, much closer to home, Roundhay Park in Leeds as well. What don't these people understand!
Have the best day you can folks in the circumstances and ((HUGS)) for all the poorlies, sad, worried or lonely. Take care and stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -

It’s good to hear that you are feeling a bit better but please know that it’s absolutely fine to say how you are feeling. We are all here for you. I hope your DB’s health improves soon. It’s good that he is getting such good care.Take care of yourself xx10

TA it was lovely to hear from you and you moan away anytime lovely, I've certainly done enough of that on here. I'm sorry that you are finding things difficult and worrying about your DB on top of it too. I hope you and you DB feel better soon, I need you back !Love alwaysnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently7

Hooray TA! You both rhyme and are alive!! Goodie. And you know you're allowed to moan, if your day is feeling moany, moan away. No one can be happy all the time, we're all in the same [ish] boat with isolating and missing friends and routines we used to do. There's making the best of it and then there's having a bloody good moan, which is cathartic....So moanAnd camelot, that was funny! Perhaps they should enter the gymastic olympics!Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi6
