Have you looked at automatic savings apps like Plum? It looks at your income and spending and calculates an amount to put away into a seperate account every few days. I also use Cleo to see where exactly my money is being spent, it seperates your outgoings into categories such as bills, groceries and savings.
Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.

    Joe,
To have this kind of mindset and save for a property at this incredibly young age is many steps ahead of adults even in their 30s. Everything you have already mentioned are putting you right on track, although in your first post regarding you might be able to borrow 100k in mortgage and are planning to pay 100k in deposits along with 100k in mortgage for a 200k property, sounds like a financial disaster. My advise is to leave at least a years worth of financial backups that will be able to fund living costs as well as your mortgage for emergencies or the fear of going jobless.

Download apps like dollarbird that can help to track your spending. Good luck!

Most important of all, by all means save up but dont let money take control of your soul, at 19 exploring the world and gaining valuable knowledge should be the priority.

I use Duolingo to brush up on my French and learn Dutch. I think it's probably better at teaching you to translate rather than think in the other language but it's quite fun. I did C25K in 2018 and now I'm a regular runner, it's a fantastic app.
