self employed 80% grant, possibility of PAYE work

I am hopefuly of getting the 80% grant in May/June having had 10+ years of straight forward self employed tax returns.
My question is, I worry that my self employed business will no longer be sustainable or as profitable as pre corona. What would happen if I took a job on PAYE basis to support my fmaily .
One of the criteria of getting grant seems to be that you intend to carry on self employed trading for rest of tax period 2020/21 but what if that doesnt work out.
Hope everyone is staying safe and well x .

You have to intend to continue to trade in 2020/21 when you apply for the grant. If after giving it a go you find it doesn't work out, you don't have to carry on all the way to 5 April 2021.1
