Car Parcelshelf
When selling a car would it make it more valuable to buy a replacement parcel shelf if it was missing (£45) or are you unlikely to recover that amount from an overall sale price?
Just wondering on views if a parcel shelf would make the car more "appealable".

You won't get the £45 back. The majority of buyers won't notice it isn't there, most of the ones that do will believe you when you tell them they are "only a few pounds on eBay", and will be beating you down anyway on the price.I would never buy a car from a trader with the parcel shelf missing (they would be replacing it before I take delivery), but it wouldn't be a dealbreaker on a private sale- I'd ask them to get it and put it back in. A lot of people "forget" they took the parcel shelf out and put it in the garage, you see them on eBay
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
