Sorry I meant arrears0

Other payment methods other than direct debit are available, in general.2

Without getting in touch with them to reset the direct debit and pay the arrears there is not much you can do. You just have to keep trying.

Loans will have sort codes and account numbers you can make payments to, just a case of finding these out (look on the net) and making some bank transfers.1

Short term loan customers will be given a one-month payment freeze – and no interest will accrue during this time.
Once the freeze is over, firms will need to let customers make the deferred payment in an "affordable way", which could be as a single payment after the term ends, or as several instalments.

I managed to get someone answering for a credit card company by selecting 'I am in financial difficulty' rather then keep saying something else or complaint when the automated system kept asking why I was calling and would just cut me off. Since then I've decided written contact only even if the post is slightly delayed and been been able to setup a standing order as opposed to the direct debit. Plus also got access to the online account eventually after a little perseverance which you can do quite a bit with to be fair - see historical letters, statements, even allows an online payment which can be self-set.

Look on your statements, the information about how to pay will be on there.0
