Santander Regular eSaver

Just seen that from 4th May interest rate on this fixed rate regular saver account is 0.75%.   So if you have a maturing regular esaver or a new application this is the current rate on offer.  :(

Glad you brought this to my attention. I'm currently getting 3% on mine and it's set to roll over in a month or two. Must make other arrangements!

Some people may have received their maturity letter before the rate reduction was announced. This is usually two weeks before maturity and if this is the case they will get the previous rate of 1.50%

A good point.  In that case 1.5% might be worth considering but unless they bring out a better rate for later maturing regular esavers I won't be renewing at 0.75%.

Wonder if they'll drop the monthly saver from 2.5% at next renewal.

Regular e Saver Issue 8  is already 2.5%
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

I'm not sure I understand this. I think Santander only has the one Regular Saver which has just dropped to 0.75% fixed for renewals/new applications from 4 May.

Mine has matured today at 3%.....I have not received a rate reduction letter so I have left the SO open in the hope it renews at 1.5%, if it renews at 0.75% I will close it

If yours has matured today you will have a maturity letter in e-Documents when you are logged into Santander online banking. This will tell you the issue number and the rate. Issue 10 is 1.50% and Issue 11 is 0.75%.
