What progress have people had who've ordered from Amazon in the past few days? I hope this is an appropriate place to ask. I ordered one for £179 at about 11pm on Sunday with 1st class delivery, so about £181 total.
On Monday morning the status under the order locator was "Dispatching soon" and it estimated dispatch date as 18th December (Tuesday) and delivery for 19th-20th December (Weds-Thurs). All well and good.
However it's now Wednesday evening and all that is still exactly the same. How can it be "dispatching soon" with an estimated dispatch date of yesterday? My card still hasn't been charged yet.
I made a small mistake- my e-mail account I used for the transaction was an old dead one- I realised and re-activated it on Monday but I've had no e-mails since then
I'm buying it for myself so it won't ruin a child's Christmas if there is a small delay- only a few days of my holiday!- but they don't know I'm not a parent tearing my hair out....I'm sure they're really busy but should I hassle them? It seems a bit weird for the information to have stayed the same for so long.
Ordered mine the same day as you, had it down for delivery yesterday and "in transit" all yesterday I waited in, nothing turned up, but today it was delivered by city-link so hopefully tomorrow yours will show up. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -

Thanks that's encouraging- but if it could be with me tomorrow I'd have expected them to have taken the money for it by now! It's a little strange.Ordered mine the same day as you, had it down for delivery yesterday and "in transit" all yesterday I waited in, nothing turned up, but today it was delivered by city-link so hopefully tomorrow yours will show up.
Star I would definitely be kicking up a fuss if I were you. Had they promised a delivery date? Is there a number you can call them on?0 -

I am selling my nintendo wii on ebay. It was bought for me as a gift and I never got round to playing it so I don't want it anymore. It comes fully boxed with all the usual accesories and 3 games: Wii Sports, Zelda Twilight Princess and Big Brain Academy. I don't expect it to sell for much higher than the starting bid so if you are interested the link is

Thanks :j
Although this is spam I will acknowledge it.
I doubt it will sell, most are going for well under £179.99 rrp for new consoles, so for your used one £180 is too much.
I saw a brand new un-opened Wii go for £150 earlier today that had 3 games with it.
Good luck, you will need it. Smile, you only get one life, LIVE IT.0 -
