Just ordered one from Amazon... and cancelled the order that I did earlier on the site for the ones with the Mario game. For some reason the latest ones have an earlier dispatch date..

By the way. haven't we all got anything else to do at half past midnight??!!

Well not as fast as in the past couple of weeks so I assume that people that really wanted a Wii have now got one. Shortage...what shortage???!!

you have to take your hats off to nintendo they have definitly managed to create a goldrush mentality they have pulled off a blinder

This is the 3rd Wii I've bought (one for me, 2 for friends) but now I've got everything I need I think I will still get a perverse satisfaction in running the wii-consoles.co.uk website and then trying to get in at Amazon before they go. Tonight was too easy...

What a nightmare it's been for Wii and DS Lite buyers this Christmas! With the Wii flying off the shelves for ages, and now the DS Lite being sold out everywhere as well. Nintendo will be both happy and sad I think. Happy as they will make a load of money from the sales, but also sad as they couldn't make enough so some people will go to the Xbox or PS3 instead!
