Just a quick update on. Finally got the Wii Saturday morning, Amtrak (courier) messed us around and in the end I picked it up from their local depot.

Anyway, Wilkinson refunded my delivery charge (£2.95) immediately, and the best bit is today I got a written apology AND £35 worth of vouchers to buy a game for it! So the Wii only cost me £130!!!

Amazon seem to have availability of small numbers throughout this evening- I've been using www.wii-consoles.co.uk to see when they come in stock and finally managed to grab one.

you need to make sure you have an account with Amazon set up and the 1-click option turned on. Once you have that set up then all you need to do to purchase any item is click the Buy with 1-click option and that's it.....checkout completed. That's why the Wii's disappear so quickly on Amazon because if you don't have 1-click you can bet someone else will and before you can complete checkout the stock is gone.

Have been trying to get a Wii for myself for Xmas for ages....
my bf and I went to GAME in Plymouth (near derry's) today and he bought 2! Despite their policy if 1 per customer and then said "HAppy Christames babe, I know that you wanted one so I got you one!"
How lucky am I?!?!?!?! Was going to buy myself one for Xmas and ask my parents for money towards it!
So basically what I'm saying is....
GAME in Plymouth (Near Derry's) have Wii's - just ask anyone who works in there and they will get one for you!

I've been looking for a wii for the kids,but I don't really understand the variety of bundles,what you get and what else you need.What's a good value deal.I don't want to pay way over the odds if it will be loads cheaper next month.
I s the deal showing at amazon at the mo,a good deal,and what do you actually get?
And can I be confident it will arrive before Xmas?
