I think that by the middle of Next week prices on Ebay will go up massively. I think this weekend will be the last weekend that stores have deliveries and by next week, Ebay will be the main place to get one.

    What makes you say that?

At least one more massive delivery into the UK is due before Christmas, people are already taking unwanted Wiis back for refunds, Amazons have now (albeit too late) restricted people to 3 per month, and surely everyone and his dog has now bought their Wii:confused:

The days of inflated ebay prices for a Wii are gone. Well, at least for this year anyway:rotfl:

How do you know there is a massive delivery due? Do you work for Nintendo? You say that everyone and his dog has bought one (are there not any her dogs?? Little bit sexist!), yet they still sell extremly quickly whenever they are put on sale. Demand is still outstripping supply. Maybe the fact that stores which sell bundles still have some left is due to people tightening their belts because of the economy. Look how fast the Amazon stock lasts though. A matter of minutes. We'll discuss this again next week when the Ebay prices have gone back up again.
  • Having no luck at all myself!

But it would be interesting to know how many of those Amazon ones that go so quickly go to genuine customers and how many go to people wanting to sell them on for profit.

Have noticed on more than one occassion that not long after Amazon sell out of their stock, many more become available on their marketplace for higher than the RRP, same with the DS too.

I can't stand political correctness myself, but I don't agree with things like writing Dear Sirs on a letter as that assumes that everyone where you are writing to is male. I also don't think women should be reffered to as Chairmen as they are not male! And before you ask I am male!

with the greatest of respects, this is a thread looking for wiis, not fruitloops.
    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

Billy - I'm in Nottingham, and got one from Game (albeit a bundle) without trying too hard, by stumbling into the shop looking for something else.

It just happened to be at the same time as one of their Monday morning deliveries.
And it's the only time I've seen any physically in stock within any shop in Nottingham.

I'm still after another one (but at cost or not at all) as a present for family, but have always managed to miss the ones at Amazon and John Lewis webstores (particularly frustrating as I WORK in John Lewis, and still can't get hold of one! ). But they seem to be the main two opportunities at getting one without a bundle deal.

    Good luck!
