Argos are in stock (certain postcodes) as a package -
Wii console with Wii sports, nunchuck controller, Wii remote, Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil IV, & Wii Docking Station - £284.93

Just ordered one but got a message to say the order can't be confirmed straight away and that they would contact me by email within a few hours. I hope this is normal! Fingers crossed.....!

Had two phone calls from Zavvi ( ? old Virgin shop) at McCarther Glenn in York, they have 6 in stock at £180, or £200 for console plus chart game. It is the second call this week from them, so there seems to be a trickle of stock going on.

Just had a phone call from Argos as I ordered another one from them today and they advised that as it was only one per customer they would cancel my order. So just watch out if you have ordered lots from argos. I did use the same email address on the orders.

When using the realtime stock checker posted earlier on here, I saw a message saying despite the out of stock message on the argos webpage, to try it and add one to your basket anyway for home delivery as they were delivering to certain areas. My order was confirmed within seconds of ordering (just lucky I think).

Courier has just been, and I've just taken delivery for a friend one of the £269 packages which I ordered on Saturday or was it Sunday? Could've had it delivered yesterday but had a lot on, so it's still possible. I'm in Dundee if that helps anyone for where delivery might be available.

I gave up looking on-line and just began looking around the local shops after visting 3 manages to buy 2 Wiis in HMV, and yesterday manged to buy 2 WiiPlays in Game.

Had absolutly no joy on the internet but thr definitely seems to be deliveries to the shops!

You're right. Every single person I know who wanted a Wii, got one. But not from the net. In fact even phone calls sometimes dont work. A friend of mine was told that they would always say out of stock until someone went into their shop and asked.

I have just been to the mall at Cribbs causeway and there is a notice at the Zavvi entrance saying that Wii's are in stock but only available if purchased with 1 game min. Not sure how long for though!
