While popping into Morrissons tonight one of the sales assistants walked past me n i did a double take as i thought i was seeing things. She had 2 Wii boxes in here arms and said she had two more she was putting out.

Apparently they had put out over the tannoy they had them in stock (16 they had on) and within minutes were left with just 4. So might be worth a phone call to your local store. I said to her about the hunt for them and she said they had been told they were sold out and wouldnt be getting anymore but had these 16 delivered today. So still hope for everyone.

They also had the Mario and Sonic Olympic game in there for £32.99.

powerplay direct all sold out of wii play...do they update their stock regularly? are they reputable?

i work in household insurance claims for the countrys largest building society (;) ) and Powerplay are one of our suppliers. They are reputable and very good customer service in my opinion!
  • WOOOHOOOOOOO!!!

I won a Wii from Amazon for £134. It's such a bizarre feeling as I didn't specifically want a Wii, logged on to Amozon by chance on Monday morning and wouldn't have bought a Wii in the near future anyway.

But I was so happy to actually win something for a change I was more than happy to part with £134!!!

    How weird!!

My brothers away at the moment, so I'm hoping it will arrive and I can set it up before he gets back as he will be very surprised to say the least.

Good luck all in finding your Wii's and I know a few people have posted this link before, but do read this thread beofre purchasing from Bizits: http://community.eu.playstation.com/showthread.php?t=168052 - dont be fooled into thinking that everyone that posts they have received their order really has. I run a website myself and have seen many of my competitors post phoney messages on forums, I know what to look out for and this website just does not look right.
  • I was told on Saturday by a worker in GAME - Oxford Street W1 that they would have loads in on Monday but to come in early.

I went at 9 am yesterday and the delivery arrived at 920am and I got one. I asked the manager if he would get any more in b4 xmas and he said he is expecting one more SMALL delivery b4 xmas

Worth calling the store each day at about half 8 am
  • Don't know anything about this website but apparantly there is stock on here:

  • Arrrggghhhhh!

My dopey husband decided to buy a Wii while he was in Germany last week, except we already have one! The genius thought cos there was a mass shortage a few weeks back then people'd pay anything to get one. He rang me to see if it was a good idea or not (I'd have said no!) but as I didn't pick up the phone this is my punishment. Apparently I'm "lucky" he didn't buy two.

    Erm... right.

To sell it on ebay we'd have to charge a fortune just to cover postage and ebay fees.

I've stuck it in Adtrader, but no luck yet. It's a PAL Euro one, and we've got an adapter to go with it for UK use. Comes with nunchuck, five games, etc.

Anyone know how we can at least get our money back for it (or failing that, anyone want a husband??).
Pay off CC debt by Xmas 2017 #095 £0 of £11,416
