Word of warning. Went into Woolies (llford) earlier to get them to take my name off their waiting list so they didn't waste time calling me. I was told that they had lost the waiting list anyway so if you are relying on a waiting list (not just at Woolies), I wouldn't if I were you.

Talking of woolies..just a reminder there was a rumour there would be some bundles online tomorrow about 6PM.

Tonight there was a big TV ad on ITV for Nintendo Wiis!! I can't imagine that Nintendo would waste money on an ad like this if they weren't going to flood the market.
This is exactly what Sony did with the PS2 slimline - I expect loads of Wiis to start appearing from tomorrow.

I think they would have already flooded the market by now if they were going to. The adverts have been on for a few days now. I think the ads were probably scheuled before they realised how popular it would be!

There were ads during the Christmas shortage last year. As I said, they will get loads in tomorrow, but in 2 weeks time they'll all be gone again. This will lead to a major shortage over Christmas.

There may be another shortage before Christmas but I don't think that will affect any of those, on here or elsewhere, who have been searching for a while. Only people who see it and think "that looks like fun, might get one" then find they are all gone. I'm almost certain that everyone who has been on here for the last couple of weeks will have them wrapped up and under the tree before any shortage takes hold again.
