Lots of games need the nunchuck they are worth having, a few are:

Mario / Sonic Olympics (can get away with just remote on some events not the same though)
Mario Galaxy
Resident Evil 4
Mario Soccer
Red Steel
One of the games on wii play needs an nunchuck (tank one)

Really every game that needs you to move about needs an nunchuck if you buy an extra one i'm sure that would be enough.

Get a wii remote charging kit too it will save you a fortune in batteries.

Ok..but it's not always easy. There seems to have been quite a few options about over the last couple of weeks, but many are expensive bundles.

I started looking ages ago & it took me 4 weeks to get one. I've had others & had the opportunity to get loads more. I had one at Amazon the other night for someone who was having difficulties, but they managed in the end so I let it go.

It's true what they say..if you have something, it's always easier to get more...but getting there in the first place can often be hard..you don't appreciate how lucky you have actually been, being in the right place at the right time...that's all it takes really.
