Did it have a sticker saying free game on it? If so and this Billy No-Mates game is meant to be free then I might try and have a !!!!! at Amazon. Pointless, I know, but I'll tell them I thought they were the one retailer with a conscience and ask them to justify an overnight price hike of £20 on a product!

I must say the Ebay thing has really annoyed me. It's akin to ticket touting. Why can't people get on with their lives instead of exploiting every opportunity to make a profit! :mad:

Just purchased one of your £199 Wii's and whilst I'm very happy to have finally got my hands on one I'm just curious as to what your motivation was to finally "cash-in" on the Wii shortage and up your prices?

You're pretty much the last online retailer to actually sell the Wii at it's RRP and it's a tad disappointing to watch you hike the price up. I know you'll try and say that it's for the game "Billy The Wizard" but first of all that game only retails at £15, secondly you've been shipping it with batches of Wii's for the last few days for £179 and finally it's advertised on the box as a "free game" so really the game itself has no value; you have just rised the price for extra profit.

Sorry for having to put up with my rant, I'm very glad to have got hold of one, I'm just a bit disappointed that Amazon has finally raised its prices after having kept to the RRP for so long.

I'm interested in seeing what their reply is... hopefully they won't just cancel my Wii. You never know they might have a change of heart and offer us all £20 back... unlikely but possible!
