I've already managed to get a wii but when I got this email, decided to buy another to help out a friend....Doesn't show as in stock when you go on the page but if you click add to basket off the email it went right in!

Ive just tried it and i get "We're sorry. One of the items in your cart can only be purchased using a valid claim code. If you are attempting to purchase an item that is part of a special promotion and believe you have been assigned a claim code, please check your e-mail, locate your claim code, and apply it below in the Order Summary column." Any Ideas?

The add to basket link worked for me too. I have just removed it, just seen the other posts, how odd it added it for some and not others. I wish I had brought it to send on now :(
  • adding to basket works fine, its the very last screen it errors and doesnt let you buy

i have even tried clearing cookies and creating a new amazon account

Tried to put 99 in basket for count and it shows three available, I don't need one now but I can try one click purchase for anyone who wants one at cost price of course.
Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.

Together we can make a difference.
  • A few days ago I tries to add one of the Wii - Customer Votes to my basket and I kept getting re-directed to the Product Details page on which there was no "Add to basket" button.

But this morning, I got an e-mail saying

"We're happy to inform you that the items you requested are now available to order from Amazon.co.uk!" - as posted by an earlier poster.

I've just gone through the whole process and am now sitting looking at the final checkout page. No requests for a code. Form what I can see - all I need to click on is Place Your Order!

I've already bought a Wii - so don't need another one. However, if anybody in the North East of Englan wants one I'm prepared to buy this one and you can collect it from me and pay me the cost price of £179.00. Of course, this is subject to the order being accepted when I click "Place Your Order"!

If you look back several pages you will see that Amazon did a lottery and sent the link and code to those that "won" the opportunity to purchase a Wii. Won't work for anyone else (sadly)

I am still on lookout in Suffolk, went to bed just before Amazon kicked in again! Typical!

It might be worth trying this.

Click on the "Buy New" link below. It will take you to a page on which there is no option to buy.

But then, click on the "Add to Basket" link in the following

It's just possible that, by clicking on the first link, Amazon puts a cookie on your computer so that it recognises you when you click try to purchase.

Of course - I may be wrong. It's just as likley that Amazon registers you when you click on the first link and then sends you a unique code in the email.

But it's worth a try if you are being asked for a code before it will let you buy.

    Good luck!
