Sorry, can you post a link??? Tried looking but cant find it.

Also, I bought a Wii from JL 2 weeks ago. Does anyone know if they will backdate???

Thats just a new code so no. You could try it with the old one Tel something. I know of people who have phoned up and got it but it was just after they had ordered, stating that they were in such a hurry, scared of missing them that they forgot to put the code in. John Lewis are very good. I order a skirt and it was too small, ordered replacement. They didn't pick original one up so I contacted them. They apoligised and said I could do whatever I wanted with it. No charge. Maybe worth a shot.

    Official MoneySavingExpert Insert:

This is the thread in which people post availability for Nintendo Wii consoles in the UK and abroad (with UK shipping), as and when it happens. Finding one isn't easy; they've been in and out of stock in most places since this time last year, and demand's especially high right now.

Yet you've come to the right place; this thread was even featured in the Daily Telegraph as the premier place to look for deals.

So how do you use it?

For those new to using web Forum's the idea is simple. It's a place where people share information on the latest Wii spots. As the Wii is going in and out of stock at many places; you're going to need to be quick to get one. Keep your eyes open and return to the thread regulaly.

It's important to note when someone spots a Wii and posts about it, it gets added to the end and each post is time stamped. Therefore you'll have more luck moving to some of the later posts in this 'thread'.

What to do if you spot a Wii

Please post the name and location of the shop you saw it in if it's offline, and a direct link if it's online. Also, if possible state whether it's a console-only or bundle deal.

    Still had no luck?

There are a few websites, such as ConsoleHunter, which'll send you updates of Wii deals as they happen. Be warned though, sometimes these are terribly overpriced, so don't get drawn in just because the console's available. This thread is of course about MoneySaving wiiiiiiiiis

Back to the original post. Thanks divadee!

As the other thread has got rather large and is reaching nearly 10k posts  i thought i would start a new thread for christmas.

Please post all availability of the wii console in this thread and a link if its online.

If you could also state wether its a bundle deal or console only that would be great.

    Thanks very much.

  • The prices on ebay just now seem to have really dropped some of the consoles on their own are going for around the £220 mark which isnt much more than retail and taking selling fees into account isn't really profitable to the sellers.

Yeah, I'd noticed that too. I think the glut is finally starting to affect the Ebay sellers.

It will be interesting when it gets to the 21 Dec as this will be the last RM Special Delivery day. Then its going to be local pick up only.
Is it going to be panic buying or panic selling.........you decide
