Is it just me or have the consoles been really sscarce today

Apart of course from the high priced ones!!

I was online at 6 this morning because Amazon usually have a load in the morning aand was on till 11 last night!!

Anyone with any ideas where to get a cheap one from a store rather than private so if something goes wrong I can phone and shout at someone for spoiling the kkids xmas?

Wolfsibe,it seems its only the private people that have them but should be no problem as they have guarantees with them,

as I found out paying the extra was worth it in the end, a) to shut the younguns up, b) to save feet and shoe leather,temper etc:rotfl:

Well I'm definately not using shoe leatherr. I did manage to get one from amazon on Sat for myself and now that it has arrived my partner would like to get one for his kids as an extra xmas prresent but won't pay silly money for a connsole he likes thee toys r us prices but I'm never in at that time!!

Argos seem to get them at least on Fridays if not more often. Has anyone that bought from them on-line received a £10 gift voucher for the over £100 spend as was being mentioned a while back?

Not a wii, but I bought a few bits on line which came to over £100 & received a voucher in the post about 2 weeks after delivery.

With this site you leave your browser open and it checks for stock every 60 seconds.

if you ring ARGOS on 0870 6002020, quote the catalogue number for a Wii, 568/3257, they will say they have none in stock, then ask them ' can you offer me an alternative', they will then say they have so and so package, amazingly they will now have them. It worked for 2 colleagues today and they are only £180 brand new, saves getting ripped off on e-bay or similar
