I was lucky enough to get a Wii from the Argos website on Friday last week. I have read some people's comments regarding their problems with Argos and thought I would share my experience. Like many, upon ordering I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail, although it did say on screen that it would be delivery on the Monday.

I phoned the customer services line on Sunday to check my order as I had still not receieved a confirmation e-mail. I was told that due to the high level of demand, there was a problem with the confirmation orders but that it would still be delivered on the Monday (the lady did mention that some orders had not been processed properly!).

Monday came and went and still no Wii. I phoned to complain and was told that due to the high level of demand, they were taking longer to deliver than expected........

Anyway, thankfully it arrived yesterday safe and sound.

One tip I have for people still hunting for Wii's is when searching on the Argos website, actually type 'Nintendo Wii' in the search box. This is because when I used their proper links to search for one it didn't show me the bundle packs that they had in stock. It only showed me the console only pack, which showed as out of stock.

I discovered this accidently, and when I typed 'Nintendo Wii' in the search box, it showed me the available bundle packs (I got the £239 one which included 4 games and the Wii accessory pack). I have tried this since, and noticed that they remove the bundle packs when they have all been sold, rather than displaying them as out of stock. So my advice is to keep on checking as I hear they will be getting more stock before xmas, but if you use the Wii links it will not show you the available bundle packs!!

You are NOT allowed to try and sell on here for personal gain!!!

If it was a case of selling it at the price you paid for it (plus postage if required) then fair enough but making a profit on here from fellow moneysavers is shocking... go and sell it on ebay if you want a profit!

hi just spoken to a few colleagues Just found a wonderful website if your looking for a Wii this xmas. Its called wii-consoles.co.uk It searches all websites every 60secs and tells you when they are in stock. a lady i work with ordered one tuesday evening and it was delivered on Thurs and it was the Normal retail price! :money:
