When I log in to my Natwest account they are offering free malwarebytes download to protect up to 10 devices, is it worth having?

Yeah, juts checked it is indeed the premium version. It's still the same software download as the free version but they also give you the product key to activate into premium mode.
I tend to just run the free version as just a malware scanner, do you get much benefit running it fully in the background alongside Windows Defender, is it much of a resource hog like some AV tools?1 -
I have MBAM Corporate which I got free via code through the MSE website several years ago. It reports itself as version 1.80.2.1012 (build date 09/02/2016) but it still gets database updates etc.0

When I tried the Premium version (v3 i think) a couple of years ago, I found it was killing my laptop battery far quicker than with my usual AV installed (NOD32). This was with real-time protection enabled. This was due to high memory usage when it was running in the background.
