I was telling you why the person stuck in Spain could claim for the JRS and you can't. The only thing I could suggest is see if the embassy can help you out with anything. As I do not think there is anything you claim for online.

Sharpe106 obviously!!  I am not worried about Feb/March as believe it or not I actually had the sense to cover myself financially before my trip. I am thinking about the future. Please people if you cant give helpfull suggestions, forget the sarcasm.
Who is being sarcastic? The issue here is you are not hearing positive things but nobody is telling you lies either. You asked for advice and you are getting it.

As an aside, is someone not able to drive you to the airport?

No point - there are no flights now and they have missed 10 repatriation charter flights.

Bradders1983 I see you spend a lot of time on here. I dont and seem to have lost my previous response to your suggestions. Just to recap: I was only offered 2 different repatriation flights both with only 24hrs notice. It takes 2 days to drive from where I am to Johannesburg!! The sarcasm came from an earlier response. Please be sure of facts before giving your surly 10 cents worth.

How can it take two days to drive 600km? Where exactly are you in SA?

Bradders1983 I said in my first post that the first flight was from Cape Town which is 600kms away. The second flight was from Johannesburg which is 1400km away.

So why not get someone to take you to Cape Town. Or take a bus anything!

There is a COMPLETE lockdown here. No buses no car hire nothing. Please keep your comments to yourself you are not being helpfull, in fact far too condescending.
