Essential Travel

I'm selling a property in the Netherlands, before the final paperwork is signed I will need to travel to the property to clear the contents which could be done in a weekend. We are planning to travel with a van and trailer via Stena Ferry from Harwich to minimise driving and borders. Is this classed as essential travel and do we need some sort of proof?

I would like to add, I'm not expecting to need to travel for approximately eight weeks.0

ATM yes, you will be traveling to a ferry port and have a good reason for doing so.
But the rules will have changed in the next 8 weeks so if unsure ask again nearer the time.
New User name as MSE gave me a number in my old one.
