hi guys, My MIL ordered one from here yesterday http://www.bestpricedbrands.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=465

£149 delivered but that's only for the console no games. Looked on amazon though and the consoles alone were going for up to £200. Looking at that link again it looks like these are selling out fast too as they only have the red left now (what she ordered) HTH

edit: forgot to say they send you two emails upon registering the second for a £5 off voucher if you order via the link in that email, but it runs out today.

You have to be careful PlayTrade is like Amazon marketplace - they have no real control over the seller. My order from Play themselves seems to have shipped... :)

Yeah I know Sid. The guy on the phone said I could check the sellers ratings once I'd registered and pick one with a good rating but I can't even find where it's coming from.

I got an email this morning saying it's been posted so I'll wait and see if it turns up or if the postie knocks it

I did get told by someone that ones from Playtrade can sometimes be repaired ones and not necessarily brand new  apparently you still get a full warranty but I don't know how true any of that is.

    Cheers
    Chris.

It must be available dependent on your postcode as I have just put a Leicester postcode in and they are out of stock, never mind!

Depends on the seller and their honesty. Legally you can't say something is new if it has been used at all (which is why, say, Argos clear out many 16-day returns via catalogue clearance outlets). However when you're dealing with an individual, it's more your problem - caveat emptor
