The DS is not pal or ntsc, games from any region will play on any DS console.
You will need the UK charger though.

When I went to Argos in Wigan galleries on Saturday I managed to get one for a friend. They had pink and black ones in stock, may be worth checking there.

We got a red and black one in Florida (WalMart) for about £55, but my younger one has now lost it We didn't have a problem with chargers as we still had the one from her Pink DS that she broke!

MONEYMAKINGMUM

I got black one last week from Game £99.99 + 2 games we chose (bogof) £30, they had pink too. Argos had black only same single price, package was £125 with free game (I had them check this the game is free but the nintendogs holder was £25... no bargain there unless you want their set games), gamestation 1 pink only & woolies said didn't expect any soon. Oops, In Epsom hth

Managed to get hold of white one plus Simpsons accessory kit and Brain game for £115 at zavvi Norwich (formerly Virgin in the Castle Mall). They said they had just received a consignemnt and were getting some shipped each week but never knew whemn or how many. Games shop next door (can't remember name, Gameplan? maybe) said they were expecting some today but by then I'd got my mitt son the one above for son's b'day so didn't check.Missed one in HMV by 15 mins the previous day but they said they get a weekly consignment (tues or weds I think he said) Hope that helps someone.
