PCP Voluntary Termination

I have just contacted my Car company to voluntary Terminate my contract.  They have stated that they cant collect it at the moment with the corona virus issue.
They have stated that they will calculate any excess mileage from the date of my termination letter till the date they collect it.
Am I legally obliged to pay the excess mileage if the contract is terminated.

If you're over the mileage and want out of the deal you pay the excess.

Yes, of course.

What I think they mean is that your mileage allowance is prorata'd to the date of the letter, not the date of collection. So if you're on 12k/year, and they're 3mo late, you don't get 3k extra mileage...

After all, you're terminating now because you don't want it and aren't using it now, right? If you wanted to use it for the next 3 months, you'd terminate it then, right?
