We have just received an e mail from viagogo saying Tom Jones concert is postponed until next year . They are offering no refunds as concert is postponed and not cancelled . Can we get a refund ?

Why do people use ViaGoGo....
Good luck, as you bought a 2nd hand ticket. Which at many events will see you turned away. As artists hate ticket resellers and touts that use them.
They do not do refunds at the best of times..Life in the slow lane1 -
When it comes to Viagogo, it's not unusual.
You bought from a tout. It's a bit late to be considering consumer rights. Is the ticket even transferable?1 -
. We are in our 70,s and had no idea viagogo are touts but thank you anyway0

Sorry , I am another who doesn’t understand why people use these 3rd party sites. We have Tom Jones tickets, I didn’t buy as soon as they went on sale and there were plenty left when I did, just to add we are happy to wait till the new dat Aug 2021, altho he will be 81 then😮0

They are. Often, tickets are non-transferable (as a way of trying to stop people selling them on). Many venues now ask for ID to match the name on the tickets, so even without a pandemic, there's a risk you might have been turned away at the door.rubybrooke said:. Why does being in your 70s preclude you from researching into an online company before handing over your cash?rubybrooke said:. We are in our 70,s and had no idea viagogo are touts but thank you anyway
The fact you bought the tickets online means you have access to Google...3 -

I understand why you're being snippy, you're embarassed about being duped. But the internet is a dangerous place to be handing over your cash/card details willy-nilly. You should always carefully research any company you're not sure of or, at the very least, pay with a credit card so you have some protection.rubybrooke said:
