Bacs Payment into Barclays (Bank Holiday)

Hi all 😀 I’m having wages paid into my new Barclays account Monday. Somebody said it will clear Friday because they process Bacs credits at weekends. Is that true ??

No. Friday is a bank holiday. My pension, payed in on a Monday, is always shown as a credit on Saturday morning, but is dated on the Monday. It is not cleared money, as you put it, because Saturday is not a banking day.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0
