Will I be paid my furlough if made redundant 7 days before pay day?

Hi,

I was let go from my employer in March, but then brought back a week later under the Furlough scheme, I had only been there 3 months, we have had an email today saying they may be making us redundant around the 27th May.   I know I don't qualify for redundancy payment as I have only been there 3 months, but considering the arranged pay day was 5th June it seems very unfortunate if we don't get any furlough payment if we are made redundant just a week before.

Could anyone let me know what we would legally be entitled to?

Thanks a lot,

There is nothing you can do legally, you have been lucky they brought you back so you got a few extra weeks pay. You should get the furlough until the 27th May, which is when they will stop claiming for you.
