Groupon Refunds For Non-Existent Stock

Has anyone else had trouble with Groupon and trying to buy items? I purchase some sun loungers 3 weeks ago to then find out 2 weeks ago that they cancelled my order without telling me as there was not enough stock. I haven’t been able to obtain a refund (I was only offered £230 credit!!!) so had my refund request escalated only to be told it can take at least 30 days for another department to get back to me, and then a further however many days to refund. What a joke! I can’t go out an buy the same elsewhere without getting my money back first. What do I do? Help!!!

How did you pay and what exactly did you buy? Did you buy credit which Groupon redeemed with the sun lounger company?0

I used a credit card and bought directly from Groupon. No “credit” vouchers to redeem afterwards.Is a section 75 claim the best way to go with this?0
