PO Box for Charity Address?

I am the Treasurer of a Scottish charity that deals (mainly) with schools and Local Authorities. We refresh our Chair, Secretary and Treasurer every 4-6 years. The charity does not have a physical home. Hence, when billing organistaions, we usually use the Treasurer's address (which is where the bank accounts are registered to). Every time we refresh our Treasurer, we have to go through the process of changing address details with every school/LA's finance department, which is a pain.
My questions are:
- Can we have our Charity's registered address as a PO Box, whic is connected to the current Treasurer's address?
- Would finance departments accept a PO Box address as a billing/delivery address?
- Can a PO Box number have its physical forwarding address altered when a Treasurer is refreshed?
Thanks!

You cannot use a PO box as the public contact address for a charity

Do you get your accounts audited each year? For a while, our charity's registered address was our auditors and they forwarded post to us. We had a reason for changing, can't remember what it was ...

Alternatively, is there a school who would agree to 'host' you?

Yes they're audited each year. Auditors change as the Treasurer changes too.
I'm beginning to think that the the "host" idea is best.
