Hi had a letter from the government staying I need to isolate as I take a immuno suppressant for my psoriasis my boss said all I can claim is ssp I work for a NHS dentist as a dental nurse is this correct

    Yes, they are correct. 
    It might be worth discussing with your dermatologist whether you can come off the immunosuppressant if you want to resume work and your dental surgery is open again.

    Depending on your circumstances you may be able to claim Universal Credit to top up your income https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/

    There are online calculators to help you assess entitlement  https://www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators

    Be aware that claiming UC will end any Tax Credits, Housing Benefit or other means tested benefits you currently get.

    You will be excluded from UC if you have savings over £16,000.

    If you are part of a couple you both have to claim and assessed on your joint circumstances.

    You may also be able to claim Council Tax Reduction from your local council.
