Redundancy Period of Employment

Hi All
Just before the Covid-19 situation, on 9th March, I was put at risk of redundancy by way of my job being moved to the UAE. A job offer has been made and I am unlikely to take up the offer. At the moment my termination date is 31st August 2020 but could move if they replace me sooner.
My employment start date was 02.09.2018 so I have been employed by them for 1.9977 years - would I therefore be entitled to a redundancy payment from my employer based on the unrounded period of employment?? My notice period is two months in my contract so I expect notice of termination on or before 1st July. No other roles are available as there is a total recruitment freeze.
Thank you

No, you are, or will be, a week short of the requisite period.0

I did read somewhere that ''Although everyone talks about the two years’ qualifying period, it is actually two years minus one week. If you are about to dismiss an employee close to their two year anniversary, check the start date. When you add a week to the proposed termination date, do you go over the anniversary?''0 -
It is 2 years minus one week - because a weeks notice is mandatory. Your notice has already been given0

That would depend when they give you the notice. But I would suggest they are fully aware of that.
