After furlough

I go back to work on Monday after being on furlough. The company i work for are talking about taking away some of our annual leave, are they aloud to do this?

Not if they have not told you they can't. They have to give you twice as long notice as they want you to take.
Did you get paid 80% or 100% wages whilst on furlough?

If they never mentioned it before then no they can't as you never agreed to it. But if the company is struggling it might not be a fight worth winning.

If the company was struggling they probably wouldnt have topped the furlough wages up to 100%

Depends if they planned on using the holiday all along but did not communicate it well.

So OP, here's a question would you prefer annual leave but been paid at 80% in furlough, or paid at 100% but losing some annual leave?

People on furlough accrue holiday as if they were working, so you shouldn't lose it unless it was part of the agreement, but as stated poorly communicated. Many companies are wanting people to take holiday as part of the furlough so as not to have problems later on with too many people with holiday still to take.
