Getting Rid of Awkward Weeds

Hi All,

I have a small section of patio littered with weeds, particularly at the edges. The weeds are too difficult to pull out as they are so embedded within the concrete and indeed broken tar, is there any homemade solution I can make to remedy the problem?

White  vinegar  will do the job but it won't kill the roots, If you want a home remedy it will work.

Weedol is good. crush the weeds before applying if you can and not let pets of wildlife near it until it has dried. Follow the instructions.

I make up the required amount and put it into cheap spray bottles to deal with awkward areas.

I also use a cheap thin bleach that does the trick if that won't affect the colour of the pavers. Not sure if that's a good idea on tarmac. Someone will say. Actually mine block paveing seems to look better :-)
