Cancelling Furlough

Hello, just after some advice regarding my boss cancelling my furlough.
We have two children, one who goes to school, one who doesn't. The eldest can go to school as my wife is a key worker who works three days a week. The youngest's nursery is shut so we need someone to look after her - what are my options?

Find some child care or take leave, or alternate work with your wife.0

Find another nursery? My step mum runs a nursery which has remained open for this very reason. There must be some open around you.0

I'll have to look into other nurseries. We rely on childcare from family members for 2 of the 3 days, obviously that's not an option right now though.0

It may be from Monday, who knows what is announced at the weekend.Oakley2702 said:I'll have to look into other nurseries. We rely on childcare from family members for 2 of the 3 days, obviously that's not an option right now though.0 -
That's what's worrying me. I don't have a problem with going back to work - but I do need to make sure my daughter is looked after. Thank you.bradders1983 said:

As mentioned, see what happens next week. There are rumours that you will be allowed to extend your social "bubble" to include visits to extended family members, although having said that you'd still want to shield the vulnerable members of your faimly.Oakley2702 said:I'll have to look into other nurseries. Can either of you take a few days leave? If you are unable to find anybody.0
