Internal front door - cheaper option?

Hi there.
I need a new "internal" front door. We have the main front door to the small porch in our terrace and then the original front door which must've been there before the porch was built.
However, the glass is shattered in this internal front door so I need it replacing. Unfortunately, it's more narrow so requires a custom made door.
If I get a uPVC door, it'll cost at least £600 for fitting etc, because it's classed as a front door, I guess, so has all the extra considerations; security etc.
I want to save a bit of money and wondered if I even needed a uPVC door or if I can just get a standard, wooden internal door? Albeit with a glass panel and maybe a lock too? Is there any regulatory reason / security reason that I would need to have a uPVC/composit door, or can I just get a standard wooden door? If it saves me £200/£300, it'll be great.
Thanks.

Why can't you just replace the glass?1

Your insurer may not consider the porch door as being the main access door to the property. There is a risk that they could decline to pay in the event of a break in if only an internal door has been fitted.
