MyHermes ....beware,don't use!

Options
MyHermes lost my parcel. The item was worth about £100 and I had sold it on ebay for £70.I think someone at MyHermes probably stole it,it was collected from the parcel shop and then disappeared somewhere around when it went to the local depot,it didn't appear on the tracking after that.I think what happened is that I made the mistake of labelling the parcel with what the item was that was actually in it (rather then just labelling it with something vague or generic or not actually listing what was in the parcel at all) and then I wrapped it in thick plastic where you could tell from the shape of the parcel what was in it,so it was worthwhile for someone to steal it as it was an item of quite high value that they could keep for themselves or possibly resell.I wish that I hadn't labelled it now and that I had put it in packaging where you cannot tell what is in it,but then, really,if you find that you would need to do that sort of thing with a courier you can't trust and 'hiding' what you are sending would you even want to be using that courier?

Sold for £70 so its value would be £70 not £100.

£70 high value??    Counts the number of times I collected thousands of pounds and goods worth more than that,
nope lost count it was that often. I collected £10k in cash from a customer once before all this money laundering
    stuff made that harder.

Yeah don't label things as to what might be inside.
Claim the £70 back on the shipment insurance.

I presume you've used " reference" to label it. It does ask you further up.what the item is, so it doesn't add up.to also put it into reference .Why didn't you pack it in a box

Thats why I left it on the passenger seat in the lorry.  About to have a cuppa with a customer and realised the lorry is parked on
the high street UNLOCKED. Sprint back to lock it....
