Shared car parking and rubish

Hi All,
So I just became home owner and bought nice maisonette. Together with maisonette comes car parking space in shared car park area(10 Car parking spaces). Area has garages and car parking spaces.
This area would be very nice however its full of rubish and never used. As I have a car and would like to use it I need it cleaned.
Question did anybody has any experience and could share how to proceed best trying to clear such area?
Do councils clear rubish in such shared areas ?
What to do if no neighbour cares about the area?
All properties are freehold no managing company

Just to confirm that it's private property and nothing to do with the council?

If so it's down to the landowner to clear, if no one else is interested that means you.

Hi Please find below picture of my house/garden boundary and car park space boundary.
If this is in my title plans, this means definetely private property ?

Well then if you own that area then the only one responsible for it's upkeep is you.

If you cleared your space you might find others do the same, you could try and rally the neighbours to get everyone working together to clear it or clear the whole lot yourself (simply because if the place looks like a rubbish dump you may find if you only clear one space it gets filled up again).

What kind of rubbish? Can it fit in a car and go to the tip, fit in a skip or is it an excessive amount? (A photo would be interesting).

If you have the space you might want to section your parking bay off and stick a bollard at the front to stop anyone else parking on it.

CCTV signs might prevent more dumping or if it's really bad you could plea with the council to put up an official sign to deter fly tipping.

Speak to the other neigbours especially the ones alongside it. Its likely one lot of fly tipping got left then others saw it as fair game. Rental properties with high turnover can be prone to this. If there's no other interest clear enough space for you to use by moving the junk along to other spaces.
If you and others are owners clearing it will add to the desirability and saleability of the properties.

How do you proceed? Bin bag, sturdy gloves and a litter picker. Shouldn't take long.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
