BIlls and credit score

I've read that ( not ) paying bills 'on time' can affect a credit score. I think my credit score should be good, it's not, and I'm wondering if a utility company, who continue to demand ( through administrators, as they went bust ) payment, is affecting it. I don't owe this money, and was only told by the judge, on the day of the hearing in the county court, (  as I was taking them to court for overcharging and maladministration ) I was unlikely to get anywhere, as they had gone into receivership, and were in debt themselves. The receivers and their representatives, simply to continue to demand payment, and ignore all my communications explaining and showing their maladministration.

    Disregard your credit score.

Are any of these unpaid debts showing on your three credit files?
