Furlough staff funds

Hi All,
I wonder if anyone else is having the same experience.
I have my own joinery business and put staff on furlough beginning of April due to the corona virus. I paid my staff the end of April 80% as instructed by my accountant before receiving any funds as I felt this was the correct thing to do.
My accountant claims he has applied for the 80% from the government but with every where you look and search saying you should receive the funds in 6 days. After 12 days I am starting to pace the walls and wonder if anyone else is having the same situation? Accountant claims 3 out of 7 business under him have been paid. Understand the amount of people applying for a payment, I just haven't read anyone having the same problem.
