Business tenancy

Hi I was wondering if anyone has any information on wether the government have put anything in place for small businesses to be able to get out their tenancy agreements? I own a small hair and beauty salon which has a 10 year lease, I have break clauses in place for every 3 years, my next one is June 2022. I make around £12,000 profit per year about 70% of this being predominantly through beauty and nail services. I’m really worried that I won’t be able to keep the business going without getting into debt with the restrictions and social distancing guild lines we will need to put in place.

Not that I have heard and I doubt they will be doing, they are trying to help business survive, so to help them shut would be the opposite of the plans.

No, but you might be eligible for this:Hi
how can I know if I'm eligible to the grant via this to-up, as technically I didn't via the regular small business grant,

Why couldn't you apply for the main grant?

Because it's really registered with the VOA, but I have statements of paying rent and the lease for office use

All  business premises are registered with the VOA.  The question is do you pay your unit business rates bill?

    Not strictly true.

    1. The premises aren't "registered". Business premises which are deemed rateable are assessed for business rates and the address and rateable value will appear in the Non Domestic Rating List

    2. Farms are businesses, but buildings used for agricultural purposes are exempt (and have been for many decades) from rating, so they have no rating assessment. Some  businesses are run from the owner's home often using a room as an office, the vast majority of these have dual household and business usage so will not be assessed for business rates
