Balance Transfer back to original card

I have a balance transfer offer just about to come to an end. The cc company it's with are offering me 18 months 0% on new balance transfers, with a lower fee than I can get on other cards I hold. Is there anything to stop me transferring the existing balance elsewhere and then back to the original card to use their offer?

Provided you have an available credit facility elsewhere with enough headroom then there's nothing stopping you from doing this, although paying two sets of transfer fees (one in each direction) obviously eats into the benefits....0

Cool thanks, I was thinking of temporarily transferring to another card with zero fee but 3.9% APR on BTs so shouldn't cost anything in that direction. Do you think it's worth asking the original cc company if I there's any facility to pay a fee to extend the period or could they withdraw the offer if I explain what I am planning to do?
