Left in the dark

Options
I recently ordered online 2 weeks ago. nothing exciting but needed. I got an email last Wednesday (when it was due) saying it was delayed but not even any idea on when it would be delivered. I thought OK it is busy for online ordering everywhere at the moment. I then got an email yesterday (Tuesday. A week later) saying part of what I ordered was out of stock (wasn't 2 weeks ago) and I hadn't been charged for the item that was out of stock. Well i have because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to order but now not only have I no delivery date I haven't been told how long if any the refund will be. I am patient and if they had bothered to tell me I would maybe more understanding. I have called customer service to find out some info but keep getting cut off and so went to there social media and sent a private message and no one has got back to me and I have seen pretty much everyone posting on their page is having the same age. So anyone know what I do now? Welcome all help possible.
Thanks in advance

We're as in the dark as you are!

What vendor?  How did you pay?  What's the value of the transaction?

Ok, so not a sum that warrants anything heavy handed like small claims.  Personally, for a sum that small I'd sit it out and accept it's an unfortunate delay.
  • I wasn't thinking small claims as even I think that's a bit much but with so many peoples stories being the same it is concerning. My item did arrive. Damaged but I can survive with what it is but now I just need to wait for the refund I just don't know what is the maximum wait for it. Should it be a normal wait which I am guessing is 3-5 working days or is it longer.

There is no normal at the moment, and with almost no way to force them to act sooner, I'm afraid you're just going to have to wait as long as it takes.
  • OK thanks
