Virgin media answerphone issue

I'm having a problem with the virgin land-line phone, when I'm on a call and the phone is engaged, another 3rd party calls and it gives the option for leaving a message, if they do leave a message we are not receiving it, so where is this message going and how do I access it.

When the landline Phone is not engaging and the 3rd party can leaves a message we receive it as normal.

Also a different issues when trying to start the YouTube It takes a long time to start up and it's very slow when it does begin, it's a tivo box,  anyone had any issue with this
