Combi boiler choice

I am in a flap because my combi boiler has just decided to leak water all over the place.  On a quick google it seems it could be a relatively minor and easy fix, or so major it is worth considering replacing the (I think fairly cheap, 15 year old) boiler.  Obviously I am hoping for the former, especially during lockdown, but I want to be prepared tomorrow when the technician comes in case it is the second.  And I don't like not having ages to read up on the topic and make a leisurely and considered decision.  I would welcome references to good resources to read, things to take into account or choices others have made - and why.

Current boiler 25kw and probably more than I need.  Also very keen on a really quiet one.

We have an Ideal Logic + 35 installed in our 1 year old new build.

Have to say we have been very impressed with it over the last 12 months. It is very quiet and very efficient. They do smaller output models as well, if anything ours is over sized for the property.

It has been faultless over the last 12 months but too early to say how reliable it will be long term.

Go for a Viessmann if you have to replace it. The Miele of boilers.

It won't be, also being a new build you will probably find it only has a 2 year warentee whereas if you were fitting one privately it would have a 10 year warentee, although that's probably not worth the paper it's written on as they will attempt to get out of any claim
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
